Chile. Colchagua Valley

$16.95 at LCBO

One of the best Cabs I’ve ever had!!

In the glass opaque, dark ruby color.

On the nose aromas of dark berries, vanilla.

On the palate dry, medium to full body. Very juicy, nice, mellow tannins and acidity. Blackberries, chocolate, plum, some smokiness, beautiful!

Nice long finish with fruit flavors.

Interesting wine from this solo variety. This grape is usually used in Bordeaux blends.

Wasn’t really impressed. Not enough character there. But! Great value.

Flavors loaded with ripe fruit aromas. Very soft on a palate

In the glass dark red color.

On the nose smoky, floral, red fruit, herbs.

On the palate rich, dry, well balanced, soft tannins and acidity. Full bodied, spicy, fruity with hint of herbal aromas.

Long finish filled with jammy flavors.

Grape from Bordeaux became the grape number one in Chile!

Deep, almost purple color. A blend of concentrated blackberry, cherry and raspberry and plum. Full bodied and firmly textured on the palate. Pleasant, with dark fruit, some chocolate and coffee, and also some pepper together with a balancing touch of oak. Balanced tannins. Long and rich finish.

Will be great with any meat or chicken.
